Kapoor’s health has often remained in focus even after his return to India. The actor was admitted to the hospital for a quick check up in February. He was admitted to the hospital in early February when he was on a tour of Delhi amid speculation about his health.
Earlier, actor Irrfan Khan died at a hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. He was 53 years old and had been battling cancer for a long time. Irrfan was admitted to the ICU of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Tuesday due to colon infection. He had a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018. He is survived by wife Sutapa and two sons Babil and Ayan. Irrfan’s mother died four days ago in Jaipur. He could not attend the funeral due to the lockdown.
