Mumbai: Ghoomketu, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Anurag Kashyap, Ila Arun, Raghubir Yadav, Swanand Kirkire and Ragini Khanna, will be released on May 5 on Zee 5. In the same, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Chitrangada Singh, Lauren Gottlieb and filmmaker Nikhil Advani will appear in the special appearances.
Zee 5, the largest producer of original content in India, has announced its next film ‘Ghoomketu’, released on 22 May, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ghoomketu. The film is a comedy-drama which will be shown from the point of view of an inexperienced writer, who is struggling to make his place in the Mumbai film industry. In search of a magnificent story, he is inspired from day to day worldly activities. Will his ambition and determination outweigh his talents? Or a corrupt policeman, who is on a mission to hunt down Ghoomketu, he has put a break on his 30-day escape?
Directed by Pushpendra Nath Mishra and produced by Phantom Films and Sony Pictures Networks (SPN), the film will be released exclusively on Zee 5.
Anurag Kashyap shared, “Every film is a diligence of love and I saw a strong belief in Ghoomketu’s director and so decided to do something that is my favorite thing to do, which is acting. The film is funny and touching. “
