2020 has been very bad for the whole world. People are already disturbed due to this coronavirus pandemic, on the other hand Bollywood has lost many of its gems in 2020. Cinema Industry has lost personalities from almost all of its categories whether it is music or acting. Pandit Jasraj, a musical legend has said goodbye to the world at the age of 90 years.

Yes, recently on Monday Pandit Jasraj breathed his last in New Jersey, America. Pandit Jasraj was from Mewati Gharana and has given a lot of popular songs to the industry. Whole music world is expressing their grief over this demise of Pandit Jasraj. His family gave the information that he breathed his last approx at 5:15 AM of the local time.

Padma Bhushan Pandit Jasraj may be brought here in India from America for his funeral. The Prime Minister Office and the Central Government have earlier talked about the same for bringing his body to India. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed his grief at the death of this legend personality. Not only music or Bollywood personalities but many other celebrities also have tweeted and expressed his grief including Nitin Gadkari, Akhilesh Yadav etc. His contribution in Indian and World music would be forever honored.

Lata Mangeshkar is my all time favourite

Recently he said in an interview with PTI, “I listen to western music, African music and also cinema music. My all-time favourite is Lata Mangeshkar, there is no one like her. I often talk to her. I watch movies, I catch up on films on OTT platforms. Whatever my granddaughter plays it, I see it.
