Bollywood actor Sanjeev Pandey who will be seen in Abhishek Bachchan‘s latest upcoming movie The Big Bull. He has utilized the lockdown to develop his long cherished dream to develop energy efficient BLDC ceiling fan which will save 60% electricity. He has already developed the product and planning to launch it on Amazon launchpad for which he has already applied.
Sanjeev Pandey told our correspondent that the biggest challenge was to develop BLDC ceiling fan at the price of a conventional induction motor fan. Almost all major brands offer BLDC fans above rupees 2500 INR, which Indian market is not ready to adopt. His brand name is GLUON which is already been registered with trademark his company’s name is Gluon Electrical Private Limited based in Kolkata. In fact he is the first startup in Eastern India Kolkata to manufacture BLDC ceiling fans. He has also applied to get 5 Star rating from Bureau of energy efficiency, which he believes will get by end of November. Already a registered MSME unit. He is optimistic that soon he will get a venture capitalist to fund him in his ambitious project. We wish him all the best on his new venture in his post covid life.
