Director SS Rajamouli’s RRR is one of the most awaited films of the year. Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is also going to play the lead role in the film. The actress has not yet started working on the project.
In a recent chat with an entertainment portal, the filmmaker talked about Alia’s schedule. He reportedly stated that the shoot with the actress, which took place this month, was canceled due to a coronavirus epidemic. Makers will work on dates and schedules again.
He also explained why he wanted to cast Alia. Reportedly, the director needed an actress who could establish her place between Tarak (NTR Jr.) and Charan (Ram Charan Teja). The actress had to play a very innocent and delicate role.
He further said that this is not a triangle love story, so Alia will have no love track with both the heroes.
Meanwhile, in addition to RRR on the work front, Alia Bhatt has several big films. She has ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna. She will also star in the film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and ‘Road 2’ with Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur under the direction of her father Mahesh Bhatt.
