Actress Rhea Chakraborty expressed grief at the dragging of her name in Sushant Singh Rajput death case and said that she is completely innocent. She has said in the appeal petition filed in the Supreme Court that till June 8, she was in a live-in relationship with Sushant. The relationship with Sushant lasted for a year. He was in depression, he committed suicide on 14 June.
She said that since suicide, she has been receiving threats of rape and murder. It is wrong to file a case in Patna. The case should be transferred to Mumbai.
The body of 34-year-old Sushant was found hanging in his apartment on 14 June in Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai. Since then, the Mumbai Police is investigating the matter after taking various aspects into consideration.
Meanwhile, Sushant Singh’s father has lodged an FIR in Patna on July 25 against Rhea Chakraborty and six people, including her family members. Rhea is accused of abetment to suicide.
Sushant’s father has alleged in his complaint that Rhea, her family members and support staff cheated my son under a conspiracy. He was kept hostage for a long time and they used him for financial benefit and finally forced my son to commit suicide.
Sushant’s father has alleged that at least 15 crore rupees have been transferred from his son Sushant’s bank account to an unknown account.
Rhea Chakraborty has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding transfer of the FIR lodged from Patna to Mumbai. Sushant’s father and the Bihar government have filed a caveat petition in the Supreme Court against this.
In this application, the Bihar government has requested the court that before giving any order on the petition of Rhea Chakraborty, their side should also be heard. The Bihar government, through its lawyer Keshav Mohan, has filed the caveat in supreme court.
