In his viral photo series for Paper magazine, the actor is seen sitting on a carpet, undressed, with neatly styled hair, and casually posing for the camera. The photo shoot pays homage to 1970s pop icon Burt Reynolds, who famously stripped off for a Cosmopolitan magazine photo shoot in 1972. While some of Ranveer’s admirers are enthused by his confidence, others have turned to funny memes in which the actor’s poses are grafted onto famous artworks and his expressions are applied to everyday scenarios. Ranveer explained his technique to Paper magazine in the following manner: “Even though it comes naturally to me to be physically naked, I have been absolutely naked in several of my performances. My soul is visible to you, f*****. What a naked picture! That is truly being nude. I don’t care if I am exposed in front of a thousand people.”
Alongside Alia Bhatt, Ranveer will act in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Additionally, he will appear in the Rohit Shetty film Cirkus, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma.
