Mumbai Lockdown UpdateMumbai Lockdown: The Covid-19 crisis has begun to develop once more, particularly in Mumbai, India’s entertainment city. The number of cases has increased dramatically in the previous ten days, forcing police to reimpose some restrictions in the town. This is because of that tomorrow is New Year’s Eve, when people are in the mood to assemble and celebrate. The Mumbai Police have imposed Section 144 throughout the city after recognizing that such a circumstance could lead to numerous Covid-19 cases. Restaurants and celebrations were not advised to avoid gatherings and celebrations earlier in the day.

Now, We has learned that movie theatres, too, have been instructed to adhere to such limits, though only until December 31. “We have been advised that no show should be played after 8:00 p.m. tomorrow,” a multiplex insider told. That is, the final performance of the day should start before 8:00 p.m., such as at 7:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m., or 7:55 p.m.

The multiplex insider person told “We received a lot of reservations for night showing of 83, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 for tomorrow . We will return the money to the audience because these shows have been stopped. We have halted accepting tickets for tomorrow’s night shows at the box office desk after we were informed of this request.”

Recently in Mumbai, the number of daily Covid-19 cases exceeded 3000. Likewise, theatres in Delhi have been closed since Tuesday. “As of present, we are ordered to obey this regulation only for one day, on December 31.  We wish that the administration do not impose limits or ask us to close down in the future days. After just a two-month gap, we had only just re-started.” the insider stated.
