However, all other precautions, including social distancing, will be taken care of during this lockdown 5.0 period. Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has now issued guidelines regarding lockdown 5.0. According to the new guidelines, temples, restaurants and shopping malls will be opened in the first phase of unlock. However, all other precautions, including social distancing, will be taken care of during this period. At the same time, activities like cinema hall, gym, swimming pool have not been opened yet and no information has been given regarding when they will be opened. Significantly, the new guidelines will be implemented from June 1. Earlier, the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath had said that soon new guidelines will be released and there will be an effort to give many facilities to the people.
The following activities will begin outside the Containment Zone in a phased manner.
First Phase – The following activities will start from June 8
1. Religious sites will be opened
2. Hotel, restaurant and other hospitality services will begin
3. Will be able to open shopping malls
Second phase- All schools, colleges and educational activities etc. are proposed to be opened in July as per the guidelines of the Central Government.
Third Phase – The following activities will be postponed till the next order
1. All international airlines will be suspended except for the permission of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
2. Metro Rail services will be closed
3. Cinema hall, gymnasium, swimming pool, amusement park, theater, bar and auditorium, assembly hall etc. will remain closed.
Night curfew deadline from 9 pm to 5 am
According to the new guidelines, if the night curfew is talked about, then it will remain in force from 9 pm to 5 am. Earlier in Lockdown 4, it used to be from 7 pm to 7 am.
Activities in the Containment Zone
The Containment Zone has been determined by the UP Government as per the guidelines of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Only health department, sanitation work and door step work will be allowed in the Containment Zone.
