Kasganj: The Ganga Rakshak Dal (GRD) conducted a cleanliness drive on the Kadarganj Ganga Ghat today in which the work of cleaning the Ganga was completed. On this occasion, the officials and workers cleaned the dirt lying on the banks of the Ganga and appealed to the people not to make it dirt.
Cleanliness work was done under the leadership of Rajkumar Baghel ‘Prabhat’, the national president of Ganga Raksha Dal and the national vice-president Deepak Chandra. Broken cculpturs, dried basil tree leaves, banana tree, flower leaves, material used in puja havan , ash, polythene garbage and other materials were collected and shifted at one place from the Ganga.
And the team met the saints present at the ghat and motivated them to keep the Ganga clean, and also gave them membership of Ganga Rakshak Dal (GRD).
On this occasion Badal Pradhan (Divisional President, Aligarh), Mrs. Sarita Saxena (District President Women Wing Kasganj), Vishal Singh Pal (District President Farrukhabad), Ankit Pal (District President Mainpuri), Satish (Mandal President Kanpur), Amit Gupta (Divisional President Bareilly) , Shiv Pratap Singh Rathore (District Vice President Kasganj), Bhupendra Singh Rathore (District President Kasganj), Abhinav Tomar (Mandal President Meerut), Govind Dixit (Gram Panchayat President Bahora), Manmohan Singh (District President Kannauj), Ashutosh Chaturvedi (District President Aligarh) etc were present.
