As the G20 Summit approaches in the national capital, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced changes to its services to accommodate the event. From September 8 to September 10, metro train services will commence at 4:00 a.m., beginning from the terminal stations of all lines.
During this period, metro trains will run at 30-minute intervals until 6:00 a.m. Afterward, the metro services will adhere to their regular timetables for the remainder of the day on all lines.
However, commuters should be aware that the Supreme Court Metro station will be closed for passenger boarding and deboarding on September 9 and 10 due to security constraints associated with the G20 Summit.
DMRC has assured the public that all other metro stations will remain open during this period. Additionally, parking facilities will be available at all stations, except for the Supreme Court, Patel Chowk, and Rama Krishna Ashram Marg metro stations.
To facilitate the movement of VVIP delegations, security agencies may regulate the entry and exit of some metro stations briefly. Commuters are urged to cooperate with station staff and adhere to their instructions for the smooth operation of metro services during this time.
