Coronavirus, which originated in China, has spread worldwide and has now become an epidemic. China is now gradually overcoming the situation and has also lifted its long-running lock-down in Wuhan in April. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ will be the first Bollywood film to be released in China after the situation returns to normal in the country.
The film reportedly applied for censorship in China and whenever the country and industry opened, the film would be censored first and then released in China.
In the lead role of Hrithik Roshan, Super 30 was a biopic of math wizard Anand Kumar, who trained and mentored 30 underprivileged students to crack the IIT entrance exam. The film was also a success in India, where it garnered praise from audiences and critics alike. The film also did record business at the box-office.
Talking about the film, Hrithik reportedly said that it would have been very disappointing if the film had not success, as he had a lot of faith in it. Explaining further, he said that there were days when he thought that the film would never work and perhaps others were right when they were wrong. “
The film was also declared tax-free in various states including Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Apart from Hrithik Roshan, the film also featured Mrinal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Sandhu, Aditya Srivastava and others.
