Coronavirus: Akshay Kumar helps Mumbai theaters, after Rs 25 crore aid

Akshay Kumar is doing so much in the midst of this lockdown, which is having a wide impact on many industries. After promising to donate Rs 25 crore to the PM Cares Fund, the actor has now decided to help Mumbai theaters.

According to media sources, Akki phoned a theater owner a few days ago and offered financial assistance as he was finding it very difficult to sustain it amid the lockdown.

Praising Akki’s offer of help, the theater owner also said that they had managed to collect money for a salary to pay their staff for this month.

Akshay Kumar starrer Suryavanshi was scheduled to release on screen in March, but the lockdown forced the film release to be postponed.

He shared in a statement, “Suryavanshi is an experience we have built for you through a year of dedication and hard work, and the response we got for its trailer was fantastic and this response made it clear that This film is indeed very special for its audience “

“We are equally excited to present the film for you and your family, but due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), keeping in mind the health and safety of our beloved audience .. We, the producers Has decided to postpone the release of our film Suryavanshi. And so, Sooryavanshi will come back for you only when the time is right… Ultimately, safety comes first… Until then, keep the enthusiasm alive, take care of yourself and stay strong… We will move forward from this… ”

After the post lockdown, the makers of Suryavanshi are expected to announce a new release date. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the police drama also features entertaining cameos by Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh in addition to Akshay Kumar.
