Also, the number of dead has increased to 12,237 with 334 more deaths. At the same time, the Government of India has said that the rate of recovery of people has now reached 52.95 percent. The recovery / death ratio is 94.07 per cent / 5.93 per cent.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry till 8 O’clock on Thursday morning, 1,60,384 patients are currently being treated, while 1,94,324 people have become healthy and one patient has left the country. An official said that about 52.95 percent of the patients have recovered so far. The total number of people infected with the corona virus also includes foreign nationals.
More than 10,000 cases of infection have been reported in India for the seventh consecutive day. And 334 people have died. Coronavirus killed one person each in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Puducherry, Telangana and Uttarakhand.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 62,49,668 samples were tested till 17 June. 1,65,412 sample tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
