Volkswagen is all set to catch up to Tesla by unveiling ‘Mission T’

Volkswagen has been certainly vocal about the work it must undertake. The company is all set to play towards Tesla’s leading electric vehicle and on the same note unveils the ‘Mission T‘. This stated effort began in April. CEO Herbert Diess once stated it all in a blog post and did efforts to bring 31 senior executives together. He says he bought them all from three of the storied German automaker’s brands. Being together they began to explain the Volkswagen’s announcements this year as it doubles down on the shared electric powertrain for its brands and a standalone software to run them all effectively.

According to Diess, the answers they came to know were basically to grow the software capabilities at more faster rate. And pool the hardware and software resources at Audi under the leadership of Markus Duesmann and Artemis project. Volkswagen is planning to have a fully electric vehicle for every single brand of it, including Audi, Bentley, and Porsche.

As on the software front, a former racing engineer of Porsche did longed to lead Project Artemis. Alexander Hitzinger said that generally at Porsche he always thought of a comprehensive system. This can be consider as very important thing and matter to work on, no matter what. On the same note they says that in electric vehicles, the computer plays as important role as an infotainment or engine sensor. The human machine interface, the exterior design, the interior design, aerodynamics and all are equally in an interconnection. He stated by even modifying these, it will impact the efficiency and aerodynamics respectively.
