Swara Bhaskar says that OTT has democratised creativity

Swara Bhaskar recently talks openly about many things. When asked about her favourite performance or film, She says – “This year has been heart-breaking. In the demise of Irrfan sir and Rishi sir we have lost cinema legends and in Sushant’s suicide we have been shown a mirror to all the pain this sparkling world of glamour hides. “

Swara Bhaskar also talks about the ugly run ins on social media and says – “Social media should have been a platform that helped us connect across geographical and time and space borders. It was and in some ways is a beautiful possibility. However we have as a society and I mean across the world used it to sink to our lowest selves. And indulge our basest instinct: anonymous bullying and harassment. I’ve always been believing that there is only one way to deal with bullies: call them out! That’s how I handle social media toxicity.”

While talking about how were previous 12 months for her, Swara Bhaskar states – “Gratitude. Gratitude for the blessings of appreciating life is my best takeaway this 12 months. Real Gratitude for my household, my associates, for being properly-off and privilege, for having a financial savings sufficient to outlive 8-9 months with out incomes, gratitude for being wholesome. Gratitude for being alive! This 12 months has additionally made me understand what are the actual priorities of crucial life.”

Swara also talks about her plans for 2021 says that – “Work, work, work (smiles). The lockdown has made me miss my work, taking pictures and being on set tremendously. I need to be busy relentlessly busy with work in 2021.”
