After helping the expatriates in the city, Sonu has now sent aerial assistance to 177 girls trapped in a locked down in Ernakulam, Kerala. These girls are doing sewing and embroidery work in a local factory and due to COVID-19, the factory was closed and they are unable to go anywhere immediately.
According to sources close to actor Sonu Sood, “Sonu was told about this by a close friend of Bhubaneswar and decided to handle the situation and do something for the girls.” He started the process with permission from the government. “
“A special aircraft has been called from Bangalore to airlift these girls from Kochi, who will now be taken to Bhubaneshwar to reunite with their families. The duration from Bhubaneswar to their village is 2 hours and soon after finishing their journey, the girls will return home. “
