Shilpa Shirodkar talks about her struggling days in an interview recently. She states everything about her initial struggle. Shilpa Shirodkar states that people use to call her Jinxed when many of her projects were not going that much well. Her debut movie was Ramesh Sippy’s Bhrastachar which came in 1989. Many of her films went on a feature after that in several hit films including Gopi kishan, Aankhen and Khuda gawah. Talking about her initial struggle and offers, she addresses that her first film was with Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Rajesh Khanna, Tina Munim, Jaya Prada and Sumeet Saigal which could not go. As she has to move back to her studies. She addresses that she has to move back for to come in Bollywood. Though for a tentative launch opposite to Sanjay Kapoor but it did not work out.
While with this note she says that Mithun Da was instrumental her struggling days and helped her a lot in wiping out the jinxed tag. She says that she was not someone who came with all frills and fancies but all of her films were dear to hear. She also states when told of raunchy songs that she do not regret anything in her life. Everything she did was just a phase as an actor of 90’s. Shilpa Shirodkar was last seen in Savitri Devi college as her last TV show.
