Renowned Indian film producer Bhushan Kumar, who serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series, has confirmed the production of a biographical film dedicated to the legendary choreographer Saroj Khan. The acclaimed director Hansal Mehta will helm the project, which is currently in the writing phase.
In an interview with PinkVilla, Bhushan Kumar shared the exciting news, saying, “We are working on Saroj ji’s biopic which Hansal sir is doing. Directed and created by Hansal Mehta. That’s in the writing stage. In OTT, you have to write a lot, and when it’s a biopic, it’s a lot more.”
According to reports, the biopic will be presented in an episodic format, delving deep into the life and career of Saroj Khan, who passed away in 2020. Her journey in the Indian entertainment industry left an indelible mark, inspiring countless dancers around the world.
Saroj Khan, often referred to as the “Masterji,” was one of the most celebrated choreographers in India, choreographing over 2000 songs in her illustrious career.
