According to reports, the accident occurred during the Janmashtami Mangla Aarti due to a stampede in the temple. In the temple stampede, two people were killed and many others were injured. The injured were taken to the hospital. Mathura SSP Abhishek Yadav reported that a large number of devotees were present in the temple premises during Mangala Aarti at Mathura’s Vrindavan Banke Bihari Temple. People’s health has deteriorated as a result of the crowd, in which a woman and a male devotee died and many people have been injured and are receiving treatment.
