Know what is the meaning of the new road sign shown in Bengaluru: Bengaluru Traffic Police respond to inquiries about road signs and safety. To clear the air, one Twitter user spotted an unusual road sign and shared a photo on social media, tagging the police Twitter handle.

Aniruddha Mukharjee’s Twitter handle spotted the sign – four black dots on a white background. The curious commuter took a photo and tweeted it, tagging the traffic cops “What is this traffic symbol? @blrcitytraffic @wftrps This is displayed just before the Hopefarm signal!”

Bengaluru Traffic Police recently revealed the significance of the road sign. They stated, “Dear Sir, that is a cautionary sign board warning you that a blind person may be on the road (and thus you must drive with caution). This sign is located at Hope Farm Junction, near a school for the blind. Regards.”

Many users agreed that they, too, had no idea what that traffic sign meant and thanked the officers for explaining it.

One of the users commented, “I had no idea. Thank you for enlightening us.”

“Thank you for informing,” said another tweet. “I had no idea.”

“Awesome I guess it’s time for @blrcitytraffic to share some light on traffic signs and other rules on Twitter on a daily basis. Another netizen stated that it will help us educate further.

Have you ever seen a road sign board for blind people while driving? And do you know what the sign means?
