Modinagar: A fierce fire broke out in a candle factory in Bakharwa village in Modinagar on Sunday. Seven people have died in this accident while four people are said to be injured. Confirming the blast, Ghaziabad district officer Ajay Shankar said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police is investigating how the accident happened at the moment.

The administration is engaged in identifying and rescuing the dead. The fire department team reached the spot on the news of factory fire, trying to control the fire. At the same time, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the District Officer and Senior Superintendent of Police to reach the spot and provide immediate relief to the injured. He has also asked to investigate the incident and submit the report by this evening.
