There has been an announcement in Bihar of elections. The Election Commission announced the dates today. Elections will be held in three phases in Bihar. The first phase will be voted on October 28, the second phase will be voted on November 3 and the third phase will be voted on November 7. The counting of votes will be done on 10 November. The Election Commission has made several special arrangements in view of Corona.
Voting will be held on 71 seats in 16 districts on the first phase i.e. 28 October. There are mostly Naxalite affected districts in it. Its notification will be released on October 1 and the last date of nomination will be October 8. Nomination can be withdrawn by 12 October. Voting will be held on 94 assembly seats in 17 districts on the second phase i.e. on 3 November.
The second phase notification will be released on 9 October and the last date for nomination will be 16 October. Nomination can be withdrawn till 19 October. Polling will be held in 78 seats on the third stage i.e. 7 November. Its notification will be released on October 13 and the last date of nomination will be October 20. Nomination can be withdrawn by 23 October.
Due to Corona, the Election Commission has made special arrangements this time. At the last time of voting, Corona victims will be able to cast their votes, for which separate arrangements will be made. The campaign will be virtual in nature, but the local district administration will decide the time and place of the small rally. Every polling booth will be provided with soap, sanitizer and other things.
