Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently heaped praise on superstar Shah Rukh Khan for his latest film ‘Jawan,’ which has notched up over Rs 500 crore in global box office collections. The two actors shared the screen in the iconic 1995 musical romance drama ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (DDLJ), where Kher played the role of Dharamvir Malhotra, the father of Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Raj Malhotra.
Taking to social media, Anupam Kher expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan in a post that resonated with ‘DDLJ’ nostalgia. He shared a joyful throwback picture of himself with SRK and wrote, “My dear Shahrukh! I have just seen your film ‘Jawan’ with the audience in Amritsar. Enjoyed it. ‘Jawan,’ an action thriller directed by Atlee, features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role and stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra.
